Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 03/14/2012

Number: 1

My Granddaughter and I saw our first Monarch of the Spring season this afternoon. We were able to get a few photos of it. There aren't too many flowers blooming in my garden yet, but there are some white wildflowers. The flowers are very delicate and everytime the butterfly would land on one, the flower would go all the way to the ground, but that didn't deter him/her from gathering the nectar:)
