The climate has been very warm for March. 44 out of our 50 tulips have emerged. We even planted one upside down and it came up. We have had some problems. A rabbit and deer nibbled off the tops of 3 plants. One mischevious dog dug up two bulbs and ate them. Yum! The leaves on the tulips bulbs look like spirals coming up. They have been growing at the rate of 1/2 a week.
