Viewed a drab, worn female laying eggs on some of my milkweed plants. I went out and collected a total of 54 eggs which I will raise to butterflies and release. I do this each year. Last year the first monarchs from Mexico were depositing eggs on March 19th, so it is a little earlier for this season
