I was walking into school Friday morning from the parking lot and heard the beautiful spring welcoming song from a male robin. I looked up, in the small maple tree and there he was greeting me. I knew it was going to be a great day. My students have been reporting them to me all week.They have been sighting them in their yards.Spring is here!!! I do think it was a territorial song.
