I put my feeder out a few days ago, but it kept freezing as we've been having some strange late snow here in WA. Today was no exception. Woke up to snow falling, by mid-day patches of blue along w/ some really nasty clouds. Just as a sun beam came over the back yard, here comes our first Rufous male. Took a couple of sips, went away into a tree and down came the hail! Goodness, we're all confused about this weather! I'm sure he's 'tweeting' his posse that the diner is open!
