Starting to see Monarchs fly through the schoolyard. After a very in-depth study of the migration in the fall I do not mention to my students when I see the butterfly returning in the spring, just to find out who is paying attention. When I started getting student reports of sightings, decided I had better go look myself. In less than 10 minutes I had my first sighting. I seen several in the last few days while we have been on spring break.
