Since there is no place to put Hooded Orioles I am using this forum instead since Bullocks are also seen (but not as much) in our area and Baltimores are only in the East. This year's first male Hooded Oriole came back to our feeder on March 15 - a full l0 days earlier than last year and 2 weeks earlier than the year before! So far he is the only one and I expect he was here last year as well since he came straight to the feeder and tolerates the male and female Anna's hummingbirds (as he did before) that use it as well. Last year we had two families of Orioles consisting of one adult male and female and two juveniles in each family
