Sighted a very colorful rufous male about 4pm this afternoon. Today was partly sunny and calm after many days of rain, wind, and snow. Our house is at 1200 ft. elevation. He spied the feeder and had a drink. Red flowering currant is about to bloom and the Indian plum has just started blooming.
