Our first tulip bloomed today, a full 2 weeks earlier than our earliest bloom date in the last 10 years. Many more of the tulips have buds ready to open. For most of those 10 years, the Red Emperors bloomed 3 or 4 weeks later than this year's bloom date! We have been having extremely warm weather for this time of year (in the 80's), and have broken many records for high temperature in our city.
