I finally saw my first male Ruby Throat for this year. He is a handsome guy with all his breeding plumage glowing in the sunlight. I usually see them in February.



I have had 2 Rufous females, an Anna's, a Broad-Tailed, Black Chinned, and a female Ruby Throat spend a good part of the winter in my yard.(all first year hatch lings)
