The garden was checked yesterday afternoon, but no blooms. But today staff at the Virginia Living Museum can report that the first Journey North tulips planted in the museum's Children's Learning Garden by Jim Drummond's Fox Patrol class of grade 2/3 students bloomed! Now they are the only plants and flowers currently in the CLG which is being renovated & reset around the Tulip bed. The Children’s Learning Garden began with Journey North tulips planted in Fall 1998.
