At 9:30 am on March 8, 2012 we all raced outside to see if our tulips emerged; everyone was really excited. Once we got to the garden we saw that thirteen of our 22 of our tulip bulbs have emerged!!!!!!
The leaves of the tulips have a smooth texture with a dark red border and the tallest tulip was about three inches tall. We think our emerging tulips will bloom in about a month or two. We can’t wait!
Even though it was 72 degrees when we went out outside, it was surprisingly cold. Our weather has been kind of crazy lately. It has been hot, chilly, warm, cold, humid and dry over the past few weeks.
We are so glad our tulip bulbs have emerged.
