On 3/12/12 I reported watching a female lay eggs on the potted tropical milkweed on my deck. Having seen a lizard in those pots several times since, I feared they eggs and/or larvae were all eaten. But seven made it to 3rd instar and I brought the pots inside to give them a better chance of surviving the birds and lizards!
