Several robins showed up in our yard last week (March 20th). I remember thinking it seemed to be earlier than usual this year. Seemed odd because we are experiencing a fairly unsettled March this year. We are still getting snow in the local mountains. Have been getting a strong southern airflow over the past week. I suspect that is bringing the birds north riding the airflow. Saw our first Rufus hummingbird today (March 29) which is later than usual.
