I have been seeing Robins for several weeks in my neighborhood (3/08 estimated). I have heard, not substantiated, that some species of Robins are now staying through the winter here. Do you know if this is true.?

I had the pleasure of watching a couple of Robins feeding on my damp lawn in my backyard this morning. One of them looked very pregnant to me. :O)
