Just wanted to upload a picture (pardon the quality of this iPhone in limited lighting) of 4 industrious caterpillars, who yesterday were "branches apart" and today have joined together in the assault on one milkweed stem.

Now I was unable to spot their tiny cell phones, but the two under the leaf in the upper center of the photo, seem to be wiggling their antennae at one another. Simple social networking, or are they discussing where they all will gather tomorrow?
