Twenty-six (26) Monarchs observed between 9:00 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Ten were nectering on Verbina; ten was headed north;
two appeared to be hunting milkweed; and four could not be classified. This area is having an amazing spring following our severe drought. Monarchs are finding massive numbers of necter producing plants and an abundance of milkweed for egg laying.
