Monarch was traveling eastward across prairie. Could not tell gender. Looked to be in good condition. Sunny, Temp = 70's, slightly breezy. Around Noon ECT.

Hoary Puccoon, Lithospermum canescens, in bloom with many flowerheads. Monarchs seen nectaring on this previous years.
