oh my goodness...saw my first turtle out sunning on a log up the Harts Rd this afternoon. a little miskwaadesi. i heard there were snapping turtles out and about. many ponds are open already. we have admitted two snapping turtles into care..very early. no turtles on my ponds yet. the phoebe is busy building her nest in the porch by the back door. frogs have not been singing because of the cold weather at night. crocuses bloomig under the mountain ash.
