Tulips EMERGED
Sightings report image

Date: 04/05/2012

Number: 1

We got back from spring break and on 4/5/12 our second grade class observed that our tulips had emerged. It is very exciting to us. There are about 10 tulips emerged and one is almost ready to bloom. They range in height from 2 inches to 5 inches tall. They are mostly green with a little purple and pink and red. We spread the leaves out of one and we saw water filling the inside. We are wondering when they will bloom. Also we wonder how tall they will get. We put some rocks around our tulips to protect them from danger.
