After weeks of snow, we have sunshine and our first rufous of the season. It's been a unbelievably wet spring with 15 inches of snow here week before last and an inch and a half of new snow on the ground when we woke up yesterday. The feeders been up for a week and the red-flowering currants are flowering. Saw 3 rufous in Damascus on April 3 and now they're here.
