Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 04/08/2012

Number: 1

Along the Tomahawk Ridge/Amesbury Lake trail system south of my home, there is an area with a large stand of young Black Locust trees. They were all in full bloom, and aside from Red Admirals and Carpenter Bees and Bumble Bees, there were three adult Monarchs lazily visiting the blooms and gliding around the trees.
