Tulips BLOOMED
Sightings report image

Date: 03/27/2012

Number: 1

Today the students went out to observe the tulips they had planted. We had multiple locations to visit because I had planted with all of the first grade classes that I work with. All of the tulips had bloomed. The tallest tulip that we found was 17 inches. Students examined the effects of planting in different locations and generated ideas about possible causes (amount of sunlight, possibility of being stepped by people on or eaten by animals, nutrients in soil).
