More sign of spring, at Ferry Bluff Wildlife Sanctuary, located 4 miles west of Hwy 12, on Hwy 60. Around 5 pm, I saw a turkey foraging in the woods, a columbine in bloom, an eagle on the wing, and two eagle nests, occupied. The nests are visible with binoculars, from the elevated observation point, looking to the east, in the lowlands along the Wisconsin River, on the southern shore.
