It is spring and the tulips have bloomed. The daylight is getting longer. The tulip stems are growing longer and taller. The tulips are pretty and red. The petals are really shiny. There are six petals on each one. We just learned that the blooms last about 4-5 days. The petals are really smooth.The leaves are getting bigger.
