Thursday evening around 7pm I seen my first little hummer enjoying some sugar water from the feeder and then it went to the clematis that is right next to the feeder.
We see Ruby Throated Hummingbirds birds here. At the begging of spring I made a new little Hummingbird garden that I can see from my kitchen window and that's where it was at. I have a Clematis vine in the flower bed and two little Fire Bushes...not in bloom yet and a salvia plant with red flowers all on it and several red lilies and a chenille plant in a hanging basket and two other little plants with little red flowers and lots of yellow and white honeysuckle on the fence right there and they are feeling the air with a very sweet smell.
In the garden on the side of the house I have lots of Turks Cap and 2 sage plants and the hummers LOVE the TURKS CAP!
I was so trilled to finally see a hummingbird!
