Finally a male rufous who looks like he's come to stay (judging by the way he charged a male Anna's). He came late in the day, shortly after I got back home from my road trip. It was almost too dark to take a photo, but I tried. If he stays, I'll try to get more and better ones. (The feeders, by the way, were busy with male and female Anna's as well as several female rufous, who came to feed every twenty minutes or so.)
