The Robin has been gathering nesting material and is building her/his nest in a tall tree that is in our front garden, the tree is located in a corner of our house so we have a window that gives us a view of inside the tree & nest. We noticed some long string among the branches ! Spring is here , but we still have snow today April 14th, the spring in Calgary AB can be warm & sunny but cold winds. My 5 year old daughter is very excited about the nest and sightings of baby robins. We hope to take some photos ,We just put some Film on our windows , that keeps the sun out , but i dont think the robin can see us , we is nice .We are in Central Calgary , alot of Mag pies birds live here as well.
