Another adult monarch. But 2-3 of my caterpillars tried to transform to chrysalis, but just turned black, then back to striped, and appear to be dead. Is this too late in season, or did the milkweed I purchased have pesticides? Earlier milkweed was grown from seed, but was feasted on & cut back (I ran out).
