I have some orange cannis in the backyard that are full bloom. I noticed a couple of birds that were the same bright orange color. I live in a beach house on stilts so I was able to get pictures from above out the bathroom window. The birds were funny - one was very brave and didn't mind me hanging out the window but the other was more cautious and zipped in and out. There was also a yellowish greenish female and a hummingbird. When I took the photos I did not know if the birds were orioles - I just thought they were pretty. Our family went on a trip last year to MD, DC and NY and we did see the Orioles play baseball so but those were different. I thought maybe? I don't remember ever seeing these birds here before.
