All Other Signs of Spring

I have had Chickadees in a box on my clothes line for almost one month. There was 6 eggs, and I had checked on them every few days. One was sitting on the eggs the last 3 times I looked in on them, and it just looked at me! It was incredible. Yesterday I observed a house wren fussing at some house sparrows that were sitting on top of the box. I went to check on the Chickadee eggs and they were gone! I looked down and they were on the ground. Apparently the House Wren had thrown the Chickadee eggs out of the box, and now are in and out of the box, using it for themselves. I didn't know House Wrens were this aggressive? I love the little wrens, but I am sad about the chickadees!!
