This is my favourite birding site. During the summer there are usually thousands of Redwing Blackbirds around this lake.
This time I only found one. I'm thinking it is probably the first one to arrive this spring.
The lighting was very poor, it was a dull rainy day. And the range was perhaps 400 yards, so the photo isn't good, but good enough to see the wing bars.
