Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 04/21/2012

Number: 1

Thought I saw one a few times. So I put out my feeder but as I look I never see one. Then just awhile ago, saw it for sure, changed the water. Only see one and its gonna be getting cold the next few nights. Down to low 30's tomorrow night. Wacky weather. Poor birds been through tornadoes and very strange weather changes.

April 25
Had one come about 5 days ago. Been changing the feeder due to the cold nights making sure they have fresh warmer water, Now I just saw number 2. That makes me happy. But still should have way more than this being so late in April. I am afaid that while traveling they hummers had to go through Texas and Yes there was tornadoes and I am thinking we lost a bunch from that severe tornado storm.. I sure hope not, but I would usually have 15 by now..

April 30
I now saw 5 hummers. One more everyday. I love my hummers.
