Rainy and gray today. Have had feeders up for several weeks in anticipation. Saw the first ruby-throated hummingbird of the season at lunchtime (mine and his)! He was hovering, sipping, hovering, sipping. He buzzed around the crabapple tree for a bit and I lost sight of him. Happy he made it back to Maryland.
