First hummer for us this season is a male caliope, sighted at our feeder at 2:04 pm. Feeders have been up for almost three weeks. Welcome back, little guys! We'll have four to six dozen at the peak. I have one picture from last year with 28 hummers around one feeder, some hovering, some piggyback.
