My main patch down on the beach (Lake Huron shoreline) has been torn up by a beach front resident. I'm hopeful the milkweed will come back, but for now it looks like I'll have to fight the rabbits to keep them off my new shoots in the garden! Yes, these rabbits love to eat milkweed! I've witnessed it!
