No monarchs yet, but the swamp milkweed in our Waystation has been up for 2 weeks. Normal spring it doesn't appear until 2nd week of May. Common milkweed and butterfly weed just started appearing in garden this week.
I just saw a tiger swallowtail today. Yesterday on the school prairie we saw red admirals, painted ladies, sulfers, cabbage whites, and one black swallowtail. In my years of watching butterflies, I have never seen a spring like this either. Lilacs are blooming, normally don't bloom until afterMay 15th.
