Spring time sightings for us are rare and I only put out one feeder. It is not unfil August that we get a lot of Hummingbirds maybe 20 to 40 depending on the week and I will space out 6 or 7 feeders around the house. They stay until around Oct 1. Usually rain seems to move them along. Not sure if they migrate a different route north than they do going south or if more food is availalble in the spring to account for the spring vs fall totals.
