Robin (First SEEN)

Date: 04/29/2012

Number: 1

Today, Sunday, April 29th, is a cold, windy day. Spitting rain. Clouds of varying shades of gray cover the sky. Snow everywhere, a few patches of open ground on south-facing slopes and under trees and brush. And somewhere nearby the first robin of spring singing! The weather has been relatively mild for the past few weeks, with a lot of sun and little wind. The snow has been steadily retreating, and now, with a little rain and at least one robin to send it on its way, it will soon be only a memory, and there will be a mad dash of green pushing up from the brown earth and the bare twigs. Definitely an exciting time! Happy spring!

See when this Northern Observation Post predicted first robin!
