I finally saw my first hummer of the season this afternoon about 2:00 pm. I have had my feeders up for quite sometime but this is the first hummer I have seen. He was a little male. My granddaughter who lives on the street behind us spotted their first hummer last eve. on their coral bell plant. Our family all tries to be the first to spot a hummer each year. I have made new food this afternoon for them in anticipation of a good year with hummers at our house.
