I have been anticipating the arrival. Each morning I get up and listen for the song as I have read orioles fly at night and often come in on weather fronts. Last night's rain must have brought his royal majesty here for when I opened the door at 6:45 a.m. I heard the distinct song. I ran to the cellar and got both the nectar feeder and jelly feeder and quickly put them on the clothes line, and within seconds he was there. I ran upstairs, got my camera and waited for his next visit to the nectar feeder. What a lovely morning. I have been waiting for him so long. I welcome my beautiful friend!
