yippee- I can 'see' that the maple leaves are really maple leaves. they started to bud out a couple of weeks ago but then the weather got cold so they have been waiting. this past weekend the lilac leaves have burst out and now the maples are growing bigger every day- supposed to be much warmer and damp this week so we should see a lot of leaf out in the area
