My husband and I saw a very beautiful male indigo bunting along with another indigo bunting who was a blotched blue and light whitish gray color feeding on the ground under a walnut tree in our backyard. While I had the indigos in my sight with my binoculars, a white-crowned sparrow and a white-throated sparrow came into view all at the same time!! I love spring migration time!
