Oriole (1st Baltimore)

Date: 04/27/2012

Number: 1

We sighted our Baltimore Orioles this year on Fri., April 27; they have returned to our back yard since 4/30/07. We feed them oranges to attract them and grape jelly to keep them. They usually leave by mid to late July after the fledglings have matured. We hear them before we see them. The male arrives first, then the female three or four of days later. They feed very close to our house and are delightful to watch.
