Saw a female Ruby-throated Hummingbird at feeder, finally. I must have missed the male, who always has been here days before the female. There have been signs that he has been here at least by last week. I had noticed tiny bird droppings on a couple of my feeders when I changed the nectar. I just didn't have the opportunity to see him. My first male sighting last year was April 22, 2011. I knew I must have missed him this year, since my sightings have always been in April.
