"Last Friday, I looked out my dining room window to the lake in front of Douglas' and there was a good sized strip of water where there used to be ice. 'Well, by tomorrow or so, maybe the lake will be clear of ice to the north shore'.

Well, surprise, surprise, that afternoon when I checked out the same view, there was no ice, none, neit, nada, nothing. How could that be in just over six hours?"
