At 4:10 p.m. a female Monarch butterfly flew by me. She appeared fresh and dark colored. She was flying low and in grassy areas. Then, at 5:20 p.m. I saw a male Monarch fly by and it was lighter and it flew to a crab apple tree. Temperature approx 80 F with very little wind.
