We saw our first male hummingbird at 4:45 p.m.at the feeder that was put up two weeks ago in anticipation of his arrival. It was 76 degrees and sunny in the afternoon. It was the first day in a couple of weeks with mild temperatures and winds from the south. He was actually right on time. All of our sightings have been in the first few days of May. He made us smile.
