Two days ago, May 1st, we put up our Oriole feeder (a converted hummingbird feeder which we adapted for Orioles) knowing they would soon be in the area. Today, a male Oriole was seen at the feeder several times. Bright in coloration and looking well fed for having traveled so long and far. We will now put up another three or four feeders out until mid-August.
