I saw a monarch briefly, very briefly, stop on a 10 inch tall milkweed plant in my garden. I looked where the monarch and stopped and there was an egg at that location. I just checked this evening (05/03) and found 4 additional eggs. This is my first sighting of eggs in the spring season.
